Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Costing Manager (Shoes, $4000, ID17916):
Contribute to the implementation of best-in-class costing strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational performance
Drive efficient costing processes and take ownership of key strategic projects
Champion continuous improvement through cost engineering and identification of inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
Analyze costing reports to detect and resolve issues with actionable recommendations
Lead negotiations with vendors and suppliers to achieve optimal cost outcomes
Provide both strategic insights and operational updates to senior leadership
Lead, coach, and develop team members to support their growth and maximize performance
Ensure the Brand Costing team meets seasonal MFP margin targets for all assigned brands
Define team OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), and regularly review performance of direct reports
Foster strong relationships with cross-functional departments and factory/vendor partners
Requirement
Gender: any
Age: Maximum 50 years old
Minimum of a bachelor's degree
At least 8 years of experience in footwear manufacturing (mandatory)
Minimum of 3 years in a team management role, with proven experience in leading or supervising staff
Proficient in English
In-depth knowledge of product construction, manufacturing processes, and costing techniques in the footwear industry
Strong price negotiation skills, with a result-oriented mindset, planning capabilities, and the ability to meet deadlines
