Data Infrastructure Builder Database, AWS, Cloud

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data storage and processing systems on AWS, including databases, data warehouses, and big data platforms.
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures on AWS to ensure the security, privacy, and integrity of data.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand and advise on the infrastructure needed to support data driven initiatives on AWS.
• Develop and maintain data integration processes on AWS to ensure the smooth flow of data between systems.
• Identify and resolve performance issues on AWS infrastructure to ensure optimal performance of data processing and storage systems.
• Monitor the infrastructure on AWS to identify and mitigate security and compliance risks.
• Evaluate and recommend new AWS technologies and tools that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the data infrastructure.
• Continuous focus to ensure data infrastructure remain up-to-date and accurate and are maintained in accordance with agreed deadlines and established business processes

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Strong experience in data infrastructure design and development using AWS platform, including AWS data services like S3, RDS, Redshift, and EMR.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS security, data protection, and data compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud architecture, deployment, and management. Experience in integrating AWS infrastructure with other tools and platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical issues related to data infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
