Data Solutions Manager

The Data Solutions Manager is responsible for translating business challenges into scalable, business-driven data solutions that create measurable value across the organization. This role partners with business functions, data teams, and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities, design effective analytics solutions, and drive adoption of data capabilities.

Combining business acumen, data expertise, and solution delivery capabilities, the role enables data-driven decision-making, improves operational efficiency, and builds a foundation of data capabilities that can continuously evolve to support future data products and advanced analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Business Partnership

• Partner with business functions to identify opportunities where data, analytics, and insights can improve OnPoint business performance and translate them into actionable data and analytics solutions.
• Lead the initiatives to monetize data assets and develop data solutions to serve brand demand.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders in leveraging data for decision-making.
• Promote data-driven thinking and improve data literacy across business functions.

Solution Design & Delivery

• Collaborate with the Data and Tech team to ensure the end-to-end delivery of data solutions, including dashboards, reports, analytics capabilities, and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable data solutions. Ensure solutions align with enterprise data architecture, governance standards, data quality principles, and security requirements.

Data Solution Portfolio Management

• Manage and maintain the roadmap of data and analytics initiatives aligned with business priorities, with well-defined success metrics on business impact, user needs, and technical feasibility.
• Establish reusable data solutions and frameworks that can support multiple business use cases.
• Drive adoption and effective utilization of delivered solutions across business users.
• Continuously evaluate solution performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Education & Professional Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• 7-10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Solutions, Digital Transformation, or related fields.
• Proven experience in translating business requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.
• Experience managing end-to-end delivery of data initiatives, from discovery and requirement gathering through implementation and adoption.
• Experience owning a data or analytics product roadmap or portfolio, including prioritization against business impact.

Data & Cross-functional Collaboration

• Experience collaborating with Data Engineering, BI, AI, IT, and business teams to deliver enterprise-level data solutions.
• Ability to bridge business needs and technical capabilities to drive effective data-driven outcomes.

Product & Delivery Management

• Experience managing multiple priorities while balancing business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments is preferred.
• Experience applying product management principles to data initiatives is an advantage.
