Overview The selected candidate will join a project team as part of a hybrid delivery model, collaborating with dedicated resources who leverage common tools, technologies, and methodologies to deliver client engagements effectively.
Work arrangement: Remote.
Salary Range: up to 4K
This role operates on US business hours, and strong English communication skills (written and spoken) are essential.
Required Skills
Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and DB2 LUW databases.
Experience creating DB2 LUW instances and databases on Linux/Unix and Windows environments (on-premise and Cloud).
Experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting, shell commands, crontab, and the vi editor.
Database object creation, database object migration, and data conversion.
Deep knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
Knowledge of query performance tuning.
Experience in Logical and Physical Data Modeling.
Knowledge of DB2 partitioning, PureScale, and Federation setup is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; can set priorities and follow a timeline.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
Ready to work remotely on US business hours with a flexible schedule.
Preferred Skills
AWS cloud infrastructure and AWS RDS.
Linux - Red Hat.
Responsibilities
Support application development teams by understanding technical and business requirements, providing database services, and contributing to database design.
Manage and maintain database environments, supporting operational stability.
Perform database migrations to cloud-based platforms.
