JOB DESCRIPTION
- Take full responsibility for managing the overall design process from concept to construction and as-built stages.
- Act as the main point of contact between the Owner, Consultants (Architecture, Structure, MEP), Contractor, and relevant stakeholders to ensure design consistency, feasibility, and coordination.
- Review and evaluate all design drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions, and materials related to architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Manage and monitor the design schedule, ensuring timely delivery of drawings and revisions from consultants and subcontractors.
- Lead the design coordination meetings and resolve technical discrepancies or conflicts among disciplines during both design and construction phases.
- Oversee BIM coordination (if applicable) to identify and eliminate design clashes, ensuring constructability.
- Support value engineering efforts by proposing design alternatives to optimize cost, time, and functionality.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes (e.g., TCVN), authority requirements, and international standards.
- Assist the construction team in understanding the design intent and provide technical support during site execution.
- Prepare reports and updates on design progress, risks, and technical issues to P.M and clients.
Yêu cầu
Job Requirements:
- Male,minimum 7-10 years of experience in building design and coordination, with at least 3 years in the role of Design Manager for high-rise or large-scale developments (20+ floors).
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple disciplines: architectural, structural, MEP, façade, and finishing works.
- Experienced in managing multidisciplinary design consultants and subcontractors.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks); knowledge of document management systems like Aconex is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Vietnamese building codes (TCVN) and international standards (e.g., BS, NFPA, ASHRAE, IBC).
- Excellent planning, organization, and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) for reporting and technical discussions.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
