Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Design & Specification Manager (Luminaires, $2300++, ID19913)
Work closely with lighting
designers and creative stakeholders to co-develop ideas and contribute to emerging industry trends.
Convert conceptual designs into practical, manufacturable, and commercially feasible lighting solutions.
Provide guidance and input to shape product specifications during the early stages of projects.
Collaborate with sales teams throughout feasibility and initial design phases.
Ensure selected products comply with minimum order quantities (MOQ) and achievable production lead times.
Proactively assess and address potential technical or commercial risks to avoid late-stage specification changes.
Establish and manage a structured Tota or project-based product catalogue.
Drive internal rollouts of approved Tota solutions, including training and knowledge sharing sessions.
Oversee and control new product introductions, customization requests, and the application of Tota solutions.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap tailored to the Vietnam market, aligned with global direction.
Evaluate portfolio performance and propose improvements, updates, or product discontinuation where necessary.
Keep product information and documentation accurate, consistent, and up to date.
Deliver training programs on products and Tota solutions to sales teams, technical staff, designers, and external partners.
Ensure consistent product messaging and positioning across sales channels, showrooms, and marketing materials.
Requirement
Male, under 40 years old
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design,
Electrical Engineering, or Lighting Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of experience in product development and design within the lighting industry (LED lighting, architectural lighting, or construction/interior-related products).
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
Practical knowledge of MOQ, lead time, and manufacturing constraints.
Fluent in English
Proficient in design software such as Dialux and AutoCAD (CAD), CIE and IES, Photoshop
