Job Description
Our client is now looking for a Destination Marketing Manager:
1. Prioritized Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop a country-specific marketing plan alongside the Country Director, ensuring alignment with the global brand and adapting to market trends.
Content and Asset Management: Supervise the organization and regular updates of destination-specific marketing assets and collaterals, including Marketing inspections in Vietnam.
Competitor Analysis: Oversee competitor research and market analysis, delegating specific tasks to the Executive and providing strategic insights to the Country Director and Marketing Director.
Sales and Operations Team Support: Ensure the Sales and Operations team is provided with the necessary materials to communicate effectively with clients.
Event and Trade Show Coordination: Support trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities within and related to the destination.
Easia Partners Program Development: Drive engagement and growth of Easia Partners within the destination, focusing on partner relationships and program expansion in collaboration with the Easia Partners
Brand Manager and Country Director.
Communication Calendar Coordination: Adhere to the communication calendar, coordinating regularly with the Production, Sales, and Creative teams to align timelines for launches, content, and events.
2. Other Tasks:
Participate in regional initiatives such as FAM trips, training, and conferences as required by the Marketing Director.
Mentor the Destination
Marketing Executive, enhancing their skills and gradually increasing responsibilities to support their professional growth.
Requirement
1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
2. Experience: 5+ years in a marketing role within the tourism or travel industry, with a focus on strategy and content creation.
3. Competencies:
Fluent in English, proficiency in a second language such as French, German, Italian, or Spanish is an advantage.
Proactive, determined, rigorous, and methodical.
High attention to detail.
Good critical and analytical thinking.
Confident in delivering training to Cambodian and foreign staff.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must enjoy a structured working environment.
Must be able to work autonomously while being part of a larger team.
Familiarity with HubSpot and/or Asana is an advantage.
Open to expatriates and foreigners.
Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
