DevOps Engineer (Junior/Middle)

Join the AI Transformation Team (AIT) at VNGGames, the team that builds and operates shared AI solutions to help VNGGames become an AI-Native organization. You will work with the team to build and operate a range of AI products and platforms, including AI Tools, AI Portal, Agent Platform, AI Model Gateway, Integrations, and Hosting Platform, serving internal teams and product systems across the company.
As a DevOps Engineer on the team, your core mission is to keep systems running reliably, ship changes with confidence, and give developers the infrastructure they need to move fast.
Responsibilities
Core infrastructure operations: Install and maintain web servers, databases, message brokers, cache systems, and container orchestrators.
Build and deploy pipeline management: Operate CI/CD processes so teams can release quickly and safely.
AI software stack operations: Manage AI providers (Claude, OpenAI, MiniMax, Alibaba) and AI platforms (LiteLLM, LangGraph, Langfuse, etc.).
Security and compliance: Set up monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting. Enforce security controls for access, secrets, and encryption. Work with the audit and security teams to meet compliance requirements.
Incident response: Take part in on-call rotations, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver long-term fixes.
Cloud and on-prem resource management: Provision, optimize, and control costs across environments.
Operations automation: Build scripts and tooling to eliminate repetitive work.
Required skills:
Core infrastructure: Hands-on experience with common infrastructure components such as web servers (Nginx), relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB), caching (Redis), message brokers (Kafka), and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
CI/CD: Solid experience with at least one CI/CD system. GitLab CI preferred.
AI platforms: Experience working with major AI providers (Claude, OpenAI, MiniMax, Alibaba) and AI platforms (LiteLLM, Langfuse).
Monitoring, security, and compliance: Production experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) and core security practices (secrets management, TLS, access control, hardening, audit logging).
Linux and networking: Strong foundation in shell scripting, system troubleshooting, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and reverse proxies.
Cloud: Production experience with AWS or GCP.
Automation: Proficient in Bash or Python.
AI fluency: Uses AI tools effectively in daily work, including chat, coding, and agentic workflows.
Nice to have:
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
AI-assisted coding (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.).
Experience with AI/ML infrastructure: model serving, GPU workloads.
