- Manage the delivery of the data governance programme across the organization.
- Lead and develop teams across TCB to ensure data governance policies and practices are embedded throughout the firm
- Help establish best practices and ownership of the corporate taxonomy and ontology, and develop rules for their use
- Align the data governance programme to the enterprise information strategy
Embed and align TCB's information security strategy with any data governance programs and initiatives
- Use specialist knowledge and expertise to identify improvements through reducing data redundancy and appropriate data reuse
- Continually assess and identify risks in line with the TCB risk management approach, ensuring they are mitigated and accounted for work within the data governance programme
- Support and supervise information stewardship activities and management of data quality, retention and uses.
- Ensure Critical Data elements are identified and proper masking, anonymisation techniques are in place.
- Develop and enforce data quality metrics outside of the data warehouse / data lake
- Support project planning and management to ensure best practice and legal frameworks are followed with regards to data governance
A. Data Governance Development
- Establish and maintain policies and standards for end-to-end data governance.
- Define data governance operational processes (e.g., data quality measurement) in accordance with policies and standards, clearly articulating roles and responsibilities.
B. Data Governance Practice

- Support CDO with communication of key governance priorities and successes across the enterprise as needed.
D. Project Management
- Manage the delivery of the data governance programme across the organization.
- Work with team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocks, conduct post mortem and root cause analyses to improve practices for maximum productivity.
E. Talent Development
- Mentor and coach team to become competent Data Governance Specialist.
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team and support with personal development plan.
