Job Description
Provide strategic direction for the school's student services, ensuring alignment with the school's vision and educational philosophy.
Design and oversee a comprehensive support system that includes:
Academic and learning support
University and career counseling
Learning skills development
Social and emotional learning (SEL)
Promote cross-department collaboration to ensure cohesive support for student success.
Develop and implement policies and frameworks for student well-being, development, and inclusion.
Monitor service quality and student satisfaction through ongoing feedback and data-informed evaluation.
Drive continuous innovation and improvement across all student support programs.
Collaborate with the school leadership team on budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation related to student services.
Ensure compliance with relevant educational laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
Foster a school culture where all students feel supported, included, and empowered to thrive.
Represent the school at relevant workshops, conferences, and professional forums.
Perform other duties as assigned by the school leadership team.
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of student services staff.
Provide training and support for faculty and staff to effectively contribute to student well-being and development.
Conduct research and stay updated on best practices in student support and development.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in a leadership role within a K-12 school setting.
Strong track record of developing and managing programs that promote student success.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
Sound knowledge of student development theories, educational support strategies, and relevant laws and regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond flexibly to school needs.
Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
