- MyTeam is currently seeking an experienced Drafting Team Leader to oversee workload of the drafting team, ensuring the successful delivery of architectural and engineering drawings to create accurate shop drawings and detailed designs as part of our project workflow for U.S. residential and commercial projects. This position combines strong technical skills with team leadership, process management, and quality control.
* What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage a drafting team to deliver accurate and timely architectural documentation for U.S. residential and commercial projects.
- Coordinate with OMT to assign tasks, balance workloads, and monitor deadlines.
- Maintain quality of output, available to check job and give feedback to members.
- Provide employee support and leadership to meet KPIs.
- Review drawings for quality, accuracy, compliance, and constructability if required.
- Address customer queries promptly and effectively, escalating issues as needed and ensuring timely reporting of information to the manager.
- Engage in client meetings, feedback sessions, and design reviews to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance, redline feedback, and support to draftspersons across all experience levels.
- Demonstrate extensive expertise in construction industry for US market to train members and contribute to technical upskilling.
- Utilize software expertise (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam) to onboard and train new team members on best drafting practices.
- Participate in internal reviews, performance assessments, and skill development planning for team members.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members, suggesting improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of relevant systems, procedures, and processes, including checklists and reports, to align with departmental and company objectives.
- Collaborate with the managers by supporting and providing regular reports as required.
- Inspire the team to build a great working environment.
- Other tasks assigned by Managers.
Yêu cầu
* Education
- Bachelor's degree in construction, Architecture, Engineering, or an Associates plus equivalent experience.
- 7+ YOE with at least 3 years in a team lead role.
- Proven experience working on U.S. residential and/or commercial architecture projects.
- Leadership experience in managing teams and reviewing drawing outputs.
* Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong working knowledge of Revit are essential. Experience with Bluebeam Revu and familiarity with U.S. construction software platforms is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of U.S. building codes, drawing standards, and documentation sets.
* Effective Communication
- Fluency in English (4 skills) with communication and client coordination skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
* Attention to Detail
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills in order to manage workload and deadlines of ongoing work and juggle unexpected client needs as they arise.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Problem-Solving Prowess
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and adapt to changing situations.
- Willingness to ask questions, take initiative, and are proactive with your communication.
- Have strong project management and prioritization skills in order to manage workload and deadlines of ongoing work and juggle unexpected client needs as they arise.
- Quick to pick up new software's, tech, and tools. We may work in a variety of tools and software platforms depending on each client and you will need to be able to use them and guide to the team based on some basic training from clients if required.
