- Operate and carry out maintenance activities as directed by the Electrical/ Instrumentation Supervisor on the process and utilities plant in a safe and efficient manner, being aware of cost effective utilisation of oil production and utilities system in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Maintain complete and accurate records within the Maintenance Management System.
- Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with the JVPC Safety Management System, including platform safety regulations and positively support all safety initiatives and improvements.
- To report any defect or inspection report to the Electrical/ Instrumentation Supervisor in a clear and concise manner and record all relevant information in logs as required.
Perform Electrical/ Instrumentation planned, preventative and remedial maintenance on equipment including the following:
· Electric actuators
· Elect and electronic control, protection, switching and interlock equip
· Electric prime movers
· Fans, heating and lighting
· Electrical equipment certified for use in hazardous areas
· AC and DC power supplies
· Power Generation Plant
· Calibration of instrument and electrical devices and systems
· Replacement of PCBs, electronic circuit devices, electrical circuit devices, lighting elements and heating elements
· Vertification of equipment and machinery performance criteria, and electrical integrity
· Analysis of mechanical, electrical, electronic and software malfunction
· Evaluation of condition monitoring data
· Software backups for all plant systems
· Wellheads including Xmas trees
· Liquid/ gas/ produced water separation and handling including well test
· Gas compression and conditioning
· Metering and associated analysers
· Fuel conditioning and transport including gas, diesel and aviation fuels
· Flaring, venting and drainage
· Sea water and fresh water conditioning and pumping
· Heating and cooling systems
· Hazard detection including fire, gas, explosion, occupational, and impact risks
· Hazard protection including extinguish and delivery and hazard containment
· Escape Evacuation and Rescue and life support including HVAC
· AC & DC electrical power
· Fire & gas systems and PCS
· Inert gas generation, handling and distribution
· Workshop and laboratory facilities
· JVPC electrical appliance and hand tools equipment log
· Contractor/ Vendor electrical appliance and hand tools equipment log
Plant operation tasks performed will include but not be limited to the following:
· Preparation for and implementation of plant start up and shut down including power generation
· Adjustment of process parameters locally or from the platform control room
