DESCRIPTIONS:
lead operations of the electrode processing operations (routine maintenance, repair, and support activities).
Work with construction, environmental, supply-chain, cell design engineering and other work streams to scale the electrode process from pilot to high volume production with the goal of delivering a fully functional manufacturing process.
FATs, installations, equipment commissioning, SATs and improvements.
Finalize the process windows and DFMEA/PFMEA with R&D and QA team.
Maintain documentation for all coating equipment operations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering.
Fluent English skills (both written and oral)
From 5 years Relevant work experience (preferably battery manufacturing).
Hands on experience with thin film coating. Experience coating lithium ion battery electrodes is preferred.
Knowledge of coating techniques (transfer roll, comma, slot die, gravure, patch coating, etc.)
Experienced with DOE and SPC.
Analytical problem-solving skills and knowledge of quality statistical methods and tools is a plus (6 sigma, Minitab, etc.)
Experienced with DFMEA and QA troubleshooting tools.
Successful track record of leading process improvement projects in a production setting.
Experience scaling from pilot to production in a fast-growing environment ideally in the battery manufacturing industry.
Experience with associated battery processing equipment coating machines, lab mixers fume hoods, glove boxes, vacuum pumps, furnaces, ovens, electronic welders, microscopes, etc.
