Core Responsibilities:
• Support the NPI team by participating in projects for the implementation and introduction of new equipment, technologies, and product novelties.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for new technologies.
• Provide training and mentoring to technicians and cross-departmental teams on troubleshooting and equipment optimisation.
• Lead equipment improvement activities and initiatives.
• Implement Engineering Change Requests (ECR) effectively.
• Act as the technology test driver: evaluate test results, focus on problem-solving, and drive resolution during overall technology testing.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new equipment and process improvements.
• Adhere to all project management guidelines, particularly the LEGO DQP model.
• Comply with relevant norms, directives, and EHS requirements throughout all activities.
• Support the standardisation of new equipment and drive continuous improvement of existing equipment.
• Facilitate the handover process from R&D to Production.
• Supervise and control technology ramp-up execution, continuously evaluating machine performance and KPI trends.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for equipment and process issues.

The NPI Equipment Engineer (EE) is a vital member of the NPI team, primarily focused on supporting improvement ideas, design, testing, and development of new technologies and equipment. This role provides expert technical knowledge in project execution and deep understanding of machinery-connected processes. Equipment Engineers typically collaborate on projects with other departments, especially R&D, Maintenance, and Production.
