Expert, IT Operations (Systems, Infrastructure & End User Support)

JOB PURPOSE
Provide comprehensive hands-on support for all day-to-day IT needs within the VVIP terminal, covering systems, users, devices, connectivity, and local infrastructure. This is the dedicated 'make it work' role for the site, ensuring that end-users, VIP lounges, and operational workstations experience flawless technical performance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Systems & Network Infrastructure Support
1. Provide Level 1 support, maintain, and patch the IT systems of the VIP terminal.
2. Manage the local network, Wi-Fi connectivity, switches, cable patching, and basic server/infrastructure operations.
End-User & Device Management
1. Support end-user devices, meeting room audio-visual systems, and IT peripherals.
2. Manage user setups, accounts, access requests, device imaging, and break-fix support.
3. Ensure technical readiness for VIP lounges, offices, and operational workstations, particularly on event days.
Inventory & Vendor Escalation
1. Maintain local IT inventory, manage spare parts, execute system backups, ensure endpoint hygiene, and update local IT documentation.
2. Triage and escalate complex technical issues to external vendors or the IT Ops Lead, tracking them rigorously through to closure.
