I. RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
1. Cost Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze supply chain costs, including logistics, warehousing, and inventory management, to identify cost-saving opportunities
Prepare regular financial reports and analyses related to supply chain performance and cost management.
Track and report on key supply chain metrics, providing insights to support decision-making.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in the development and management of the supply chain budget, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
Support the forecasting process, monitoring actual performance against forecasted figures, and providing variance analysis.
3. Operational Support:
Collaborate with supply chain teams to provide financial guidance on inventory management, vendor negotiations, and logistics planning.
Participate in cross-functional projects that impact the supply chain, providing financial input and analysis
4. Process Optimization:
Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain finance
function, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial tools and systems that enhance supply chain operations.
