Role Summary:
The Finance Controller is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic guidance to optimize financial performance. This role requires a meticulous professional with a deep understanding of financial management within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee the hotel's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Monitor and control all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and audits.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and internal financial policies.
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Conduct risk assessments and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.
Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and cost control.
Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience, with at least 2 years in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
