Position Summary
BCM Solutions is looking for a Finance Lead / Finance Manager to support the setup and development of the Finance & Accounting function for a newly established Japanese subsidiary company.
This role is not only responsible for managing daily financial operations, but also for building finance processes, systems, and team foundations to support the company's growth stage. The position requires a hands-on mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agency/service environment.
The Finance Lead / Finance Manager will work closely with the CEO, Accounting team, and Japanese stakeholders to ensure financial operations are accurate, compliant, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
Compensation package includes competitive salary, standard benefits and insurances required by law, together with performance-based 13th-month salary and bonus.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Business Analysis
Track revenue and costs by project/contract to ensure proper allocation and profitability analysis.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide management with clear, data-driven financial insights to support business decision-making.
Monitor project financial performance and identify operational or financial risks proactively.
2. Cashflow Management & Financial Planning
Manage company cashflow planning and forecasting in collaboration with the CEO and Accounting team.
Work with banks and financial institutions regarding loans, payments, and financial operations.
Support Account/
Business Development teams in payment planning and client settlement processes.
Lead budgeting preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis with actionable recommendations.
3. Process Building & Internal Control
Build, standardize, and improve finance/accounting processes and internal control frameworks.
Participate in setting up operational workflows and reporting structures for a newly established finance team.
Suggest and implement process improvements to increase reporting reliability and operational efficiency.
Support system optimization and digitalization initiatives related to finance operations.
4. Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with VAS/GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate legal requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with auditors and prepare required documents for audits and inspections.
Manage reconciliation and intercompany reporting where applicable.
5. Team Development & Stakeholder Management
Support the development and scaling of the Finance team as the business grows.
Work closely with Japanese stakeholders and adapt communication/reporting to align with expectations and working styles.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Preferably within the range of 28-32 years old, with sufficient experience to lead while remaining adaptable and proactive.

Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 2 years in a lead/managerial role.
Experience working with Japanese companies or Japanese stakeholders is highly preferred.
Experience in service-based businesses, marketing agencies, or fast-paced environments is a strong advantage.
Proven experience in building, improving, or standardizing finance/accounting processes and workflows.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
Familiar with auditing practices, VAS/GAAP, and accounting systems/tools.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
