Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Finance Specialist to work on a part-time basis. The role involves financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance tasks with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Candidates will support routine accounting functions while ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and resolve financial discrepancies promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation processes is required.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.
Knowledge of GAAP standards and tax compliance regulations is required.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders are required.
