Mô tả công việc
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for:
A. Owning the integrity, accuracy and rigor of the balance sheet and accounting systems/processes/operation
• Maintaining the company accounting system, the integrity, timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting prepared in compliance with local Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) and tax reporting
• Ensure the rigor, discipline and integrity of the general ledgers and balance sheet with a structured process to review and monitor the balance sheet health
• Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting function within the company, ensuring monthly financial statements are prepared accurately and in a timely manner
• Stay updated of changes in VAS and GAAP to ensure the internal accounting operation is fully compliant with the latest regulation and changes
B. Ensuring a strong control and risk management culture and operation within the finance function and the overall business
• Leading the overall risk and control review of the business, with the support from the enterprise risk team based out of Singapore
• Continuously engage with relevant business stakeholders and finance leads to understand, identify and suggest solutions for risk management
• Safeguard the business assets through ensuring a tight control on key processes: P2P, O2C and R2R.
C. Supporting tax and treasury in managing cashflows and tax compliance
• Managing cash flow, preparing monthly cash planning, credit facility utilization and ensure well managed account receivables
• Coordinating with bankers for payment /transfer arrangement
• Assist the tax team on all reporting and compliance matters
D. Build a capable, high performing and motivated team
• Continuously attract, train and retain capable talents into Financial Controller's team
• Maintain a healthy network with the external bodies and profession to tap into their knowledge and talent for Lazada
• Develop and own people plan with the aim to deliver highly engaged and motivated team, with a clear development roadmap for team members
Yêu cầu
• Qualified accountants (ACCA or CPA preferred), ideally with prior experience in Big 4
• At least 5 years of experience in managing accounting operation (including AP, AR and GL) and a big team (10+) with solid understanding of VAS, GAAP and working knowledge in tax (CIT, PIT, WHT)
• Experience in distribution or retail industry not a must but an advantage
• Resilient, optimistic and hands-on
• Proven record at building and developing people and talents
• Experience in implementing accounting software or ERP (SAP experience is preferred)
• Fluency in both English and Vietnamese
