Collaborate with In-Line teams, including
developers,
designers, factory partners, and mold shops, to develop new products, technologies, and processes that meet expectations in terms of brand integrity, design, innovation, and return on investment.
Support the management of the tooling calendar for inline seasons and execute project timelines in alignment with seasonal critical paths.
Evaluate and adjust technical blueprints (outsole, midsole, upper) and materials to ensure molds and components meet required specifications.
Participate in cross-functional meetings during prototyping and development phases to ensure timely tooling confirmation.
Support the development and implementation of tooling best practices and standards, ensuring effective communication and compliance across product teams.
Develop a strong understanding of molded component technologies, including mold shop processes, lead times, factory procedures, and material properties; identify and provide feedback on potential manufacturing concerns.
Prepare and submit 3D CAD models for rapid prototyping.
Manage and execute file transfer processes with brand members, manufacturing partners, mold shops, designers, and developers.
Maintain and support a comprehensive archive system for technical drawings and 3D files for both inline products and advanced projects.
Participate in weekly development meetings and update tooling tracking lists for upcoming products.
Support mold and stock fitting trials with development and factory teams to identify potential manufacturing issues and ensure timely resolution.
Inspect pre-form and finished components to ensure they meet technical specifications and are fully aligned with approved blueprints.

Yêu cầu
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Associate Degree, B.A.); may be substituted with relevant working experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in technical engineering or mold-making, preferably in the sports footwear industry.
Strong knowledge of molding processes, equipment, materials, and tooling.
Experience working with overseas teams, particularly in Asia.
Understanding of 2D and 3D processes, including the ability to create and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models.
Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong 3D visualization skills, with hands-on experience in technical and manufacturing processes.
Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Illustrator, and 2D CAD.
Knowledge of Rhinoceros (2D required; 3D is a plus).
Strong understanding of working methods and cultural practices in sourcing countries.
Solid technical knowledge in footwear tooling engineering, including Asian production and R&D processes.
Familiarity with footwear manufacturing materials and processes (e.g., CMEVA, IMEVA, PU, TPU) and their expected performance outcomes.
