Overview:
We are seeking for a highly motivated and result-oriented individual to join our team as General Accountant and Tax Compliance Officer. The primary goals are to handle financial reporting of new businesses (ie. Organon and Brewhub, etc), Melchers cashflows management, balance sheet reconciliation, and tax compliance of all Melchers subsidiaries in Vietnam to ensure all transactions are complying with Melchers policy and Vietnamese Accounting Standards (or VAS). This role reports to
Finance Manager directly and no subordinate.
Key Responsibilities
1) Financial Statement Preparation and Reporting (35%)
o Take charge of new businesses' financial reporting (i.e. Organon, Brewhub, etc,) and ensure accuracy and integrity of data on financial statements.
o Support
Sales Managers of new businesses by providing financial analysis and to ensure that transactions are managed legally.
o Support Finance Manager to handle yearly budget and monthly financial reporting on time with quality according to group requirements.
o Consolidate financial statements of Melchers Vietnam, Brewhub and Organon for audit purpose.
2) Tax compliance for all Melchers subsidiaries (Melchers Vietnam, Organon and Brewhub) and RO (35%)
o Ensure all business transactions are managed in adherence to applicable tax regulations.
o Cooperate with Chief Accountant of Melchers VN to ensure that transactions are recorded in ERP system following VAS and group accounting policy.
o Chiefly liaise with tax auditors in case of tax inspections for all Melchers subsidiaries.
o All tax report deadlines are met with accuracy (i.e. VAT, CIT, Withholding tax).
3) Cashflows Management (10%)
o Take ownership of cashflows reporting and forecast to reflect order to cash and procure to pay workflows timely and appropriately.
o Liaise with Sales Admin and Chief Accountant to manage both payments and collections to avoid cash shortfalls. Raise red flag to management along with proposed solutions at least one month before cash deficiency might occur.
4) Intenal Control (10%)
o Coordinate with Operations Manager to build up business workflows in place for Brewhub and other new businesses.
o Ensure documents are filed in order and archive in both hard copies and soft copies adequately.
5) Balance Sheet Reconciliation (10%)
o Own BS reconciliation process of Melchers Vietnam
o Review aged balances with Finance Manager with recommendations to minimise potential BS risks.
