This role serves as the central accounting function of the company, covering the full spectrum of general accounting, cost accounting, tax compliance, and management accounting. The position reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the sales,
purchasing, and production teams.
Function:
1. General Accounting
• Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately on ERP software.
• Issue invoices and proactively follow up on receivables to ensure timely collection from customers.
• Process payments to suppliers in accordance with payment schedules and agreed terms.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage fixed asset register: additions, disposals, and depreciation tracking.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).
• Liaise with bank representatives, internal and external auditors, and tax authorities.
• Any other tasks assigned by the CEO.
2. Cost & Production Accounting
• Calculate and record cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Maintain import-export documentation in coordination with the relevant department; ensure correct accounting treatment of import duties and related costs.
Tax & Compliance
• Prepare and submit periodic tax declarations including VAT, PIT, CIT, and other applicable taxes in compliance with Vietnamese regulations.
• Maintain accounting records and documentation in accordance with VAS and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
3. Management Accounting
• Prepare monthly management accounts including internal P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for CEO review.
• Lead the annual budgeting process: develop budget plans, coordinate inputs from relevant departments, and consolidate into a company-wide financial plan.
• Perform monthly budget-vs-actual variance analysis; identify root causes and provide actionable commentary to the CEO.
• Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity position.
• Develop and maintain financial KPI dashboards to track business performance against targets.
• Conduct ad-hoc cost analysis, profitability analysis by product/project, and financial scenario modeling to support strategic decisions.
1. Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of import-export accounting (customs documentation, import duties) is required.
• Experience in production or manufacturing accounting is a plus.
3. Technical Skills
• Proficiency in ERP accounting software is required; experience with NetSuite is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office 365, particularly Excel.
• Understanding of AI tools applied to accounting workflows is a plus.
