Lead an Innovative Hospitality Concept
We're hiring our new General Manager for our Hoi An location! What matters most for this unique opportunity is your intelligence, attitude and people skills. But ideal candidates thrive on being self-directed, leading and training people, organization and small business leadership experience from any industry, preferably hospitality. Our growing hospitality business is disrupting traditional models, and we need a General Manager to transform our success with customers into a well-run operation.
About the business: Unique concept, successful, owned by a Vietnamese-British couple who live abroad now. Small business but on a growth trajectory and more like a well run medium-sized business in terms of the manager salary, ambition and high expectations.
--- RESPONSIBILITIES ---
• Oversee entire business with responsibility for operations, team, facilities & profit.
• Manage and develop team performance: training, feedback, hiring & firing.
• Improve business optimization and efficiency: KPIs, defined processes, and guidelines to professionalize the business.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, marketing, and innovation.
• Oversee facility maintenance and improvements.
• Full P&L responsibility and financial management.
• Identify and implement new revenue streams.
• Lead marketing initiatives.
• Report & communicate directly with the owners (in English).

• Business owner/entrepreneur, general manager, or senior leadership experience.
• Experience launching or improving businesses or business areas, introducing systems, and optimizing operations.
• Background in hospitality, service, or any industry with strong service/sales experience.
• Proven success in leading small businesses or autonomous business units.
Skills & Attributes:
• Strong autonomy and self-direction.
• Understanding of small business dynamics and challenges.
• Systems thinking and business optimization expertise.
• Prioritization skills, focusing on impact over perfection.
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
• Natural leadership: strong interpersonal skills, experience in training, hiring, firing, and giving feedback.
• Not shy to work hands-on if necessary.
• Resourceful with budget-conscious problem-solving.
• Highly disciplined, organized, and reflective in decision-making.
Mindset:
• Hard-working.
• Comfortable with ultimate responsibility and rapid decision-making.
