We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily operations of our production workshop. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach to process management, and expertise in reporting to optimize performance. This role is crucial in ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining cost control.
Production Supervisor Job Responsibilities
1. Establish and Implement Policies and Procedures:
• Organize the development and revision of relevant regulations and standard operating procedures within the scope of responsibilities.
• Supervise implementation after approval.
2. Organize and Implement Production Plans:
• Develop the workshop's production schedule based on the company's overall production plan.
• Organize and arrange production tasks according to the schedule to ensure timely progress.
• Efficiently allocate personnel and equipment, adjust production layout and workload to improve productivity.
3. Production Process Management:
• Lead regular workshop meetings to coordinate overall operations.
• Supervise and guide the production process while ensuring quality control.
• Monitor and inspect employees' work, warn and correct any violations.
• Participate in analyzing product quality issues and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Oversee self-inspection and mutual inspection during production to prevent defective products from entering the next process.
4. Workshop On-Site Management:
• Establish on-site management policies and provide relevant training.
• Promote and enforce 5S management to standardize workshop operations.
• Regularly assess 5S compliance among staff, implement rewards and penalties to ensure policy enforcement.
5. Workshop Safety Management:
• Enforce the company's safety policies and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Monitor critical areas to eliminate safety hazards and prevent accidents.
• Organize periodic safety education and training, ensuring safe working practices.
6. Production Cost Control:
• Analyze daily production data to identify areas for improvement and boost efficiency.
• Track and analyze workshop cost consumption and implement practical cost-control measures.
7. Employee Management:
• Organize technical training for production staff.
• Coordinate with HR for employee attendance, payroll, and other administrative matters.
8. Other Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate promptly with supervisors and other teams to resolve any unexpected issues in the production process.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by leadership.
