Mô tả công việc
• Provide exceptional wine and beverage service to guests, guiding them through our menu selections with a focus on enhancing their overall dining experience
• Utilize your expertise to recommend wine pairings that complement our cuisine, considering guest preferences and budget
• Maintain an updated knowledge of wine list
• Collaborate closely with culinary team to understand menu changes and seasonal offerings, adjusting recommendations accordingly
• Effectively communicate with guests to understand their preferences and offer personalized beverage options
• Work with Bar Manager on wine orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in service delivery
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the wine storage and service areas
• Meet sales targets by actively promoting beverage options
• Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as and when assigned
Yêu cầu
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE/ GIÁO DỤC VÀ/HOẶC KINH NGHIỆM
Proven experience as a Sommelier or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hospitality establishment
REQUIREMENTS/ YÊU CẦU
• Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits and other beverages, with strong understanding of international and local varieties
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide outstanding customer service
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details, ensuring accuracy in wine service and inventory management
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and positive attitude
• Must be able to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Passionate to serve and have a strong passion for the F&B industry
• Must be fluent in English to be able to communicate with international guests
• Able to remain calm and composed in a hectic and fast-paced environment
