About the Role
We're seeking a dynamic Mid-Level Social Media
Designer to join our Social Content Hub. In this position, you'll translate existing creative strategies and social plans into eye-catching visuals, ensuring our social media content stands out in busy feeds. You'll collaborate closely with writers,
project managers, and other creative teams, delivering impactful designs that align with client goals and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social-First Design
Conceptualize and design compelling visuals (static posts, short-form videos, stories, motion graphics) optimized for various social platforms.
Adapt existing creative direction into visually engaging layouts that maintain brand identity and deliver on project objectives.
2. Collaboration & Alignment
Work side-by-side with copywriters, ensuring that visuals and text create a cohesive narrative.
Liaise with Project Management for client approvals, making revisions as needed.
Seek input from Creative Leads or Senior Creatives when significant design changes or high-level refinements are required.
3. Quality Control & Consistency
Maintain high standards of design across all deliverables, adhering to brand guidelines and project specifications.
Optimize designs for different platforms, making sure each visual is on-brand, audience-friendly, and meets performance requirements.
4. Trend Research & Innovation
Stay updated on social media trends, new platform features, and emerging design styles to keep content fresh and engaging.
Propose new creative approaches, styles, or techniques that can enhance our social output.
5. Project Management
Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery.
Follow internal processes and best practices for file management and version control.
Qualifications
2-3 years of professional experience in graphic design or related fields, ideally within an advertising or
digital marketing environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and additional motion design or video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere, CapCut) is a plus.
A robust portfolio showcasing social media designs, motion graphics, or other relevant creative work.
Keen understanding of social media platforms and the design nuances specific to each (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and an ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Team player mentality, comfortable working under tight deadlines, and receptive to feedback and collaboration.
Effective communicator in English, both spoken and written is a plus.
