JOB DESCRIPTION
Company Overview
URC Vietnam Co., Ltd. is part of Universal Robina Corporation (URC), a leading branded food and beverage company in ASEAN and Oceania. In Vietnam, URC operates FMCG manufacturing sites in Binh Duong and continues to strengthen productivity, quality, food safety, and operational excellence.
Job Purpose
This role supports the Brand Marketing team for URC food brands, including Dynamite + Snack portfolio, in brand building, campaign execution, consumer activation, digital and social content, market analysis, and cross-functional coordination. The role is designed for a fresh graduate or junior marketing talent with strong learning agility, consumer curiosity, digital sense, and hands-on execution discipline.
The Brand Associate works closely with internal teams and external agencies to translate brand ideas, consumer insights, and business priorities into practical marketing activities that build brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Category Understanding
Build understanding of the Food category, Confect & Snack segment, brand positioning, consumer behavior, competitor activities, and market execution.
Support category performance review, market context tracking, consumer observation, and competitor monitoring across relevant channels.
Translate market observations and learnings into practical inputs for brand planning, campaign execution, and consumer activation.
2. Brand Campaigns, Launches & Activations
Support the planning and execution of brand campaigns, product launches, brand revitalization initiatives, sampling, promotion, and consumer activation activities.
Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, approvals, materials, and execution readiness with guidance from the Brand Manager.
Follow through on project actions and help ensure activities are delivered on time, aligned with brand objectives, and properly documented.
3. Digital, Social Media & Content Support
Support the development of brand social media presence, content direction, and campaign communication materials.
Coordinate with digital, creative, media, and content agencies to deliver social content, campaign assets, KOL / KOC coordination, and digital execution where required.
Monitor social trends, consumer conversations, and competitor content to provide ideas and observations relevant to the food target consumer.
4. Data, Market Analysis & Campaign Review
Consolidate market information, sales data, campaign results, digital metrics, competitor updates, and consumer feedback into simple and useful reports.
Support basic analysis and convert findings into activation, sampling, promotion, content, or consumer engagement recommendations.
Support post-campaign review by summarizing results, learnings, improvement opportunities, and next-step actions.
5. Agency & Cross-functional Coordination
Coordinate with Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Supply Chain to support brand initiatives.
Work with advertising, digital / creative, research agencies, POSM suppliers, and partners on campaign concepts, materials, quotations, and timelines.
Ensure clear information flow, careful follow-through, and execution readiness for approvals, samples, POSM, and materials.
Job Requirements
Must-have Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field.
Fresh graduate or 0-2 years of exposure in marketing, brand, digital, content, agency, trade marketing, consumer activation, research, sales, or FMCG internship / part-time work.
Good English communication skills, both spoken and written, with ability to work on emails, basic reports, and presentation materials.
Good computer skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel; able to consolidate information and prepare simple reports / presentation decks.
Active learner with critical thinking, curiosity about consumers, and willingness to take on new challenges.
Good coordination, communication, attention to detail, and follow-through with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong interest in brand marketing, food brands, consumer activation, digital / social content, market analysis, and FMCG execution.
Preferred Requirements
Internship, part-time, or working exposure in FMCG, consumer goods, brand marketing, trade marketing, sales, research, or agency environment is an advantage.
Exposure to digital agency, creative agency, media agency, social content, TikTok / Facebook content, KOL / KOC coordination, or campaign execution is a strong plus.
Basic understanding of consumer insights, market research, promotion campaigns, sampling, POSM, activation, retail observation, and social media content is preferred.
Interest in food, confectionery in particular, mass consumer brands, Gen Z / youth consumer behavior, or on-ground activation is an advantage.
Detail-oriented, hands-on, proactive, able to manage multiple workstreams under guidance, and willing to learn from both office-based and market execution activities.
