Job Description
Responsible as the first person to interact with merchants in advance for renewal subscription dates and provide renewal pricing information.
The senior renewal associate will be measured based on the timeliness of renewal contracts, their ability to drive incremental price increases on renewals, and on increasing the number of multi-year renewals.
Notify and guide existing merchants for yearly subscription renewal before the subscription expiry date and to upsell and negotiate workable pricing and payment methods via email, phone call, or WhatsApp message.
Perform proactive follow-ups with merchants for overdue renewal collections and understand issues that are causing a delay in collections.
Act as a consultant to merchants in providing the best plans in the course of renewal to cater to their ever-expanding businesses.
Actively work with inter-departments such as Merchant Support, Engagement & Website Services ) to ensure efficient resolution to merchant requests through collaboration and effective teamwork to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
Work closely with the Team Leader & oversee the team when needed
Suggest and assist in setting a renewal strategy to achieve an incremental number of renewals on a quarterly basis
Liaise with the team lead & manager to set monthly objectives/targets
Detailing action plans to ensure targets are achieved on a monthly and quarterly basis
Feedback on quality and team progress on an individual and team basis;
Mentoring and coaching team members especially new team members
Job Requirement:
Strong negotiation and sales skills with superior objection handling skills in regards to discount requests, conflict management, etc. to push forward for the renewal
Experience in handling customer relations, sales, account management is preferred
Ability to juggle with multi-tasking, multiple priorities and operate in a fast-evolving environment
Shown creative problem-solving skills with strong initiative to identify areas of process improvement and efficiency.
Goal-driven & ownership. Takes full ownership of the target assigned, and will drive based on all means to achieve the stipulated targets
Detail-oriented. Able to research the data of customers beforehand, and ensure that all CRMs/housekeeping is completed duly
Resilience & self-motivation. Ability to push through even when faced with rejections
Basic knowledge of Google Docs
Multilingual - Vietnamese and English. Any other third language to cover different markets.
Objection handling & negotiation skills. Able to handle objections from customers in regards to discount requests, conflict management, etc. to push forward for the renewal
Detail-oriented. Able to research the data of customers beforehand, and ensure that all CRMs/housekeeping is completed duly
Strong communication skills. Able to clearly explain concepts/details which are easily understandable by customers
Resilience & self-motivation. Ability to push through even when faced with rejections
Goal-driven & ownership. Takes full ownership of the target assigned, and will drive based on all means to achieve the stipulated target
