Mô tả công việc We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Engineering to lead, scale, and empower our growing engineering organization. Unlike a hands-on role, this position focuses on strategic leadership, organizational scaling, and technical direction, making it ideal for a leader who thrives on building strong teams, shaping engineering culture, and driving product success through large-scale delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead & Scale Teams
- Build, manage, and grow a high performing engineering and QA organization of 40+ members.
- Establish structures and leadership layers to support rapid expansion.
- Foster alignment between product, design, and engineering teams.
Drive Technology & R&D
- Define and execute the company's technology vision and architecture roadmap.
- Champion adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and infrastructure.
- Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, and future ready.
Optimize Processes
- Design and implement best-in-class engineering practices: task allocation, code review, release management, and QA.
- Improve development velocity, quality, and reliability through automation and process discipline.
- Institutionalize a data-driven, metrics-based approach to engineering performance.
Ensure Delivery
- Own end-to-end execution of the product roadmap from planning to release.
- Partner closely with Product Management to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and technical debt proactively.
Develop People & Culture
- Mentor and coach engineering leaders; build a strong succession pipeline.
- Create a collaborative, innovative, and high performance culture.
- Champion continuous learning and technical excellence.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years leading large engineering teams (30+ people).
- Proven success in scaling engineering organizations within fast growing product companies.
- Strong expertise in system design, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Expertise in agile planning, project management, and SDLC best practices.
- Proficiency in modern development practices CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and agile delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Experience building platform-scale products (e.g., e-commerce, supply chain, data platforms, or martech).
- Strong strategic and technical judgment; capable of balancing long term architecture with short term business priorities.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in high growth tech startups or enterprise scale platforms.
- Hands on background with .NET, C#, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, and cloud native technologies (coding not a primary responsibility).
- Previous experience as Head of Engineering or Director of Engineering is a strong advantage.
