* Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve targets and stimulate business growth in the modern trade channel.
* Lead and mentor a high-performing team, nurturing a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key modern trade accounts, negotiating terms for mutual business optimization.
* Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities and threats, crafting relevant action plans.
* Regularly monitor and analyze sales performance, generating reports, and presenting insights to senior management.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.
* Spearhead the implementation of sales training programs to elevate the capabilities and skills of the sales team.

* Demonstrate a successful track record in a leadership position within the FMCG industry, especially in modern trade.
* Possess a deep understanding of modern trade dynamics, market trends, and customer preferences.
