Head of Production (Textiles/footwear)

We are a British owned company who manufacture (mainly) toys in Asia. We are looking for someone who is based in Vietnam with a strong background in textile production and a proven track record of success in managing production operations.
As a Head of Production, you will have a broad range of responsibilities. One of your main duties will be to develop and implement the production strategy, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for managing and optimizing the production budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet production targets. Additionally, you will lead a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the production strategy to meet company objectives
- Manage and optimize the production budget
- Lead and supervise a team of production supervisors and operators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production processes
- Identify areas of improvement and implement process enhancements
- Select and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Monitor and ensure product quality and adherence to safety protocols
- Manage day-to-day factory operations, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in factory operations.
