I. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Lead multiple teams that fall under the Tech-Ops group, whose charter includes SRE/Platform engineering, infrastructure and cloud infrastructure
- In collaboration with the CTO, assess the current and long-term infrastructure and IT needs for the organization and build a defensible strategy, and operating plan.
- Provides oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT systems that fulfill the needs of the business.
- Make sure that our entire engineering team has the best tools they need to seamlessly and efficiently ship code everyday.
- Ensure our services communicate with each other seamlessly, have minimal downtime, and recover quickly.
- Bring out the best in the individuals in your teams by enabling them to do the best work of their lives.
II. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Basic requirements:
- Language: Excellent in English, having Thai language is a plus point
2. Qualification:
- Education qualification: University degree or above.
- Experience & Skill:
· At least 5 years of engineering management experience.
· Experience in senior roles within the infrastructure domain with deep knowledge of networking, telco, servers / storages, security, and mobility solutions on both cloud and on-premise.
· Extensive experience managing complex Infrastructure environments in a fast-changing multi-channel business.
· Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, container orchestration (Docker Swarm / Kubernetes ...) as a plus point.
· Experience working with financial systems (banks, payment gateways, electronic wallets).
· Strong leadership and communication skills.
· Excellent project management skills.
- Attitude: Be innovative, proactive, enthusiastic at work and able to work under pressure.
- Other requirements: Technology writing / blogging skill is an advantage.
