[HEINEKEN] Public Affairs Manager - Hanoi

Reporting to: Head of Public Affairs
Based: Hanoi
Purpose of the role:
Protect HEINEKEN Vietnam's licence to operate, particularly with regional Government.
Support Head of Public Affairs with central / regional Government engagement on matters of critical importance to the business and influence external agendas to create positive conditions for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Head of Public Affairs with creating clear, prioritized roadmap for action that is focused on key issues and opportunities to address key risks and market opportunities for regional Government.
Identify the key national policy and political opportunities and risks that impact short and long-term business goals, including exise tax and production licences and build stakeholder map and engagement plan with Head of Public Affairs.
Assess public policy developments that impact our business and develop clear plans to mitigate those risks. Build and maintain dialogue with public decision makers and non-governmental organisations. Influence regulators and the political decision making process..
Support Head of Public Affairs to ensure understanding and awareness and impact on commercial priorities of critical public affairs issues.
Secure production licences and related permits and manage process to ensure timely engagement with officials to retain and achieve all necessary permits for all breweries
Close working relationship with Sustainability and Communication, as well as Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain to support Public Affairs agenda.
