Role Overview:
As a Design Leader you will be responsible for leading and developing our graphic design team, driving the creative process, and ensuring the highest quality of design output. This role is pivotal in shaping creative concepts, optimizing team productivity, enhancing skill sets, and serving as a key liaison with clients and internal stakeholders to bring design projects to fruition.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the design team
Lead concept development in relation to design and creative inputs
Take a lead role in managing the design and creative elements of projects and be point of contact for clients and creative projects
Work with internal teams to develop big ideas for pitching and proposals
Provide quality control over design outputs and production
Develop and manage productivity and continuously improve the design team's production capabilities
Organize training sessions for team members to enhance essential design skills, update software knowledge, and meet client quality expectations in design
Organize regular meetings to keep the team and oneself updated on the latest design trends across platforms, both in Vietnam and globally
Work with other team members (BD/account team) to deliver projects and activity to deliver against deadlines
Take part in recruiting new members for the design team
Other related tasks assigned by Line Manager/BOD
Fully understand the skill sets, strengths and weaknesses of team members, consider opportunities for their growth, and assign work to them
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Design, Fine Arts or a related field.
05-07 years of professional experience in design, with at least 2-3 years in a lead or management role, preferably within a
digital marketing or advertising agency environment.
A strong portfolio showcasing successful design work.
Proficient with After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong capability in Art Direction, Conceptual Thinking, and Visual Strategy to guide the creative vision and ensure consistency across all outputs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines.
Good English communication skill (verbal and written) are required to collaborate effectively with international clients and team.
