Responsibilities and means
• To manage the HR Department ensuring associate comply with residence policies and procedures and local and government regulations.
• To coordinate with requisition departments, the recruitment of associates following established standards, policies and procedures, to assist them in the orientation, training, development and evaluation of their personnel.
Technical responsibilities
• To maintain and update policies and procedures and other human resources matters.
• To prepare and submit periodic reports to owner and Oakwood Asia Pacific management company as well as for management's use in accordance with residence and government requirements such as salary scales, manning guide, etc...
• To check and amend any training activities, programs, policies and curriculum of the training department.
• To recruit qualified personnel for each department based on the personnel requisition form approved by the divisional head and General Manager.
• To analyze the residence manpower requirements in order to recommend on selection and development activities to meet those requirements.
• To review personnel policies, procedures and practices and recommend any changes, modification or updating to the management.
• To monitor and review the residence's benefits and compensation levels and recommend any appropriate changes.
• To prepare succession plan for the potentials for middle and senior management level with the department heads and General Manager.
• To monitor the progress of succession plan and recommend any internal promotion for those completing the succession plan with satisfactory performance.
• To prepare and issue correspondences relating to the HR Department.
• To ensure associate comply with the residence policies and procedures as well as government regulations pertaining to employment practice.
• To ensure that the internal training programs are conducted as planned to improve associate knowledge and necessary skills up to the residence standards.
Human responsibilities
• In the environment of multi-skilling and creative rostering, the Human Resources Manager will be held accountable for the effective management, in accordance with ORHN policies and philosophies, of staff at each level.
• Responsibility for effective recruitment, training and development, certification, performance evaluation, turnover reduction and optimization of productivity through efficient work practices and staff rostering.
• Support and reward staff innovation.
• To ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are provided to staff in order to function efficiently.
• To conduct weekly and monthly meetings with the Human Resources team and related departments for job follow up and information dissemination purposes.
• To create a good working atmosphere and efficient cooperation in the Human Resources department.
• Maintain open communication with peers, superiors, and subordinates at all times.
Relations
• Directly responsible to the GM and will liaise closely with other teams.
• Maintains and develops fruitful relationships with existing and potential clients, suppliers and colleagues.
Yêu cầu
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or Human Resources Management.
5 year experience in the same position in hospitality industry.
Good knowledge and experience in Labour Law.
Computer knowledge and experience in MS office programs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Leadership skills, communication skills.
Organizational capability.
Good command of English both in speaking and writing.
