Hse Coordinator

The Purpose of the Job: To support the effective implementation of environmental initiatives at the factory, manage ISO 14001 documentation, and coordinate HSE recordkeeping across Safety, Environment, and Clinic functions. The role ensures that on-site environmental practices are maintained and that all HSE-related documents are up-to-date, well-organized, and audit-ready, in line with legal and customer expectations.
Principle Accountabilities
1. Environmental Monitoring, Waste Management, Chemical Management, Water Usage, Wastewater Management, Air Emission
• Conduct regular walk-throughs to monitor environmental implementation and ensure alignment with legal regulations, customer regulations, HSE standards.
• Monitor environmental initiatives on-site such as energy saving, waste sorting, emission reduction, and water reuse ensure compliance with LTP Group's ESG Strategy, environmental regulations and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure environmental practices are implemented and sustained.
• Plan and supervise the implementation of environmental monitoring, and propose improvement actions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and customer requirements.
• Supervise daily waste classification, storage, and disposal activities to ensure compliance and traceability.
• Monitor chemical usage and storage; ensure chemical control practices comply with applicable regulations and brand requirements, including MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substances List).
• Support improvements in safe handling, labelling, and organization of chemical substances on-site.
• Operate the domestic wastewater treatment system to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and customer requirements.
• Calculate and monitor carbon emissions, and develop improvement measures to ensure ongoing reduction and compliance with environmental goals.
2. Audit Preparation & Support
• Prepare HSE-related documentation and data HSE to support ISO 14001, Higg FEM, HIGG FSLM, customer, and legal audits.
• Coordinate with relevant departments during audit processes; ensure timely submission of required evidence and follow up on non-conformities and corrective actions.
3. ISO 14001 Documentation
• Maintain ISO 14001 documents, procedures, and templates; ensure proper version control and document accessibility.
• Support the planning and execution of HSE internal audits and external certification/surveillance audits.
4. Document Control and Report
• Maintain and update HSE documents system, HSE website and master list; ensure version control, coding, archiving, and traceability.
• Submit weekly, monthly, and other internal environmental reports and 6S to the direct supervisor and as required by legal regulations.
• Consolidate and report monthly environmental performance data (energy, water, waste, emissions).
• Provide accurate environmental data and support documentation for ESG and audit requirements.
5. Communication & Training
• Proactively identify and recommend improvements to enhance environmental performance, strengthen HSE documentation systems, and reinforce 6S implementation.
• Participate in environmental and 6S initiatives or awareness campaigns to promote sustainability and good practices among workers.
6. Other Duties
• Support to conduct regular walk-throughs in 6S, ensure alignment with HSE standards.
• Support to Issue work permits, Train and Monitor contractor activities on site, and ensure compliance with contractor safety management procedures.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by direct reporting.
