HSE Officer

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



I. LABOUR SAFETY

• General control safety in company: occupational safety (training, report, meeting, onsite checking...)

• Daily monitors the assigned area to determine whether there is any machines, equipment, tools, appliances, or working procedure, process which is liable to cause environmental problem.

• Patrol, check the environmental safety.



II. ENVIRONMENT.

• Work on planning, and implement measures to prevent, control or remediate environmental hazards.

• Prepare reports for submission to supervisors and management, which identify the environment and safety potential hazard(s), and provides recommendations for control and compliance.

• Supervise the procedure of transportation inside company.



III. FIRE FIGHTING AND FIRE PREVENTION SAFETY

• Conduct periodic safety inspection/verification of high risk equipments, fire protection equipments...

• Prepare instructions, labels, signs for fire fighting and fire prevention activities

• Make list of fire fighting and fire prevention equipment and update, keep track regularly

• Check potential areas of fire fighting and explosion (smoking area, canteen area, etc)

• Make a plan for period fire drill.



IV. OTHER DUTIES

• Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health, safety and environment legislation.

• Able to conduct EHS training

• Facilitate accident and near miss investigations

• Maintain the compliance of governmental regulations related to the environment, health and safety, and maintains records of related tasks where applicable.

• Plan and perform periodic HSE inspections and report to any such related incidents

• Able to work with different functions within the company to encure that EHS concerns are addressed adequately, within and acceptable time-frame.

• Maintain, update and retain relevant records, documentations and certifications as required under the regulatory authorities.

• Perform other duties assigned by Director.
