Health, Safety and Hygiene
• Understand regulations and principles of Safety and Hygiene regulated by the government and customers.
• Prepare checklists of health, safety, and hygiene to file, update, audit, and follow up related documents.
• Report weekly on safety and hygiene status across the company, including 5S, accidents, and potential risks to raise awareness.
• Initiate safety programs and conduct training on safety and hygiene.
• Monitor company-wide safety and hygiene activities such as exits, aisles, emergency lights, fire protection systems, PPE, evacuation drills, chemical areas, machinery, and subcontractor activities.
• Conduct periodic internal audits and organize monthly fire-fighting team meetings.
• Prepare periodic reports in compliance with government requirements.
• Cooperate with local authorities on safety and hygiene activities.
• Develop corrective action plans (CAP) based on audit findings.
Environment
• Understand current environmental laws and regulations.
• Ensure proper functioning of rainwater and wastewater systems.
• Ensure waste classification complies with environmental regulations.
• Monitor and ensure employees follow proper waste classification practices.
• Manage cleaning team for landscaping, perimeter cleaning, and maintenance tasks (e.g., fixing leaks, blockages).
Others
• Provide safety orientation for new employees.
• Renew relevant service contracts annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the
HR Manager.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in compliance or HSE management.
• Experience supporting safety audits (internal/external) is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good documentation, follow-up, and accountability skills.
• Good command of English.
• Knowledge of HIGG Index, ESG, or sustainability programs (Solar, Emissions, Energy management, etc.) is a strong advantage.
Education Background
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Other Requirements
• Candidates based in or willing to work in Bien Hoa are preferred.
