The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations within the resort, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, labor compliance, and organizational culture. The role ensures that the resort attracts, develops, and retains talented employees while maintaining compliance with labor regulations and supporting the achievement of business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified talent.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for all departments.
Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
Work closely with department heads to assess staffing requirements.
Build talent pipelines for critical and seasonal positions.
2. Employee Relations
Foster a positive and engaging work environment.
Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
Implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Support department managers in conflict resolution and performance issues.
Promote company culture and values throughout the organization.
3. Performance Management
Manage the annual performance appraisal process.
Guide managers on employee performance evaluation and development plans.
Monitor key HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.
Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
4. Learning & Development
Identify training needs across departments.
Develop and coordinate training programs to enhance service excellence.
Conduct leadership development and supervisory training workshops.
Monitor training effectiveness and employee development progress.
Ensure mandatory compliance and workplace safety training is completed.
5. Compensation & Benefits
Administer payroll processes in collaboration with Finance.
Manage employee benefits programs and insurance plans.
Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation reviews.
Ensure fair and competitive compensation practices.
6. Labor Law Compliance
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and hotel policies.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Handle labor inspections and statutory reporting requirements.
Ensure legal compliance regarding contracts, working hours, and disciplinary procedures.
7. HR Administration
Maintain HR information systems and personnel files.
Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics.
Manage employee contract administration and renewals.
Oversee employee attendance and leave management systems.
8. Culture & Employee Engagement
Organize employee recognition and welfare programs.
Lead employee satisfaction surveys and action planning.
Coordinate team-building activities and company events.
Strengthen employer branding initiatives.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
HR certifications are an advantage.
Experience
3-5 years of HR experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or international hospitality brands is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Experience in hospitality recruitment and workforce management.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
