ABOUT THE ROLE:
IOT Investment Joint Stock Company is looking for an experienced Import-Export Team Leader to manage our import operations, overseas supplier coordination, customs procedures, cost control and team performance.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in importing electronics, audiovisual equipment, professional audio and lighting products, technology equipment or technical components.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Import Operations and Supplier Management:
Develop and coordinate import plans based on business demand, inventory planning and project schedules.
Manage relationships and transactions with overseas suppliers, including quotations, contracts, production schedules, shipping documents and delivery terms.
Coordinate international transportation, customs clearance and goods delivery.
Ensure the accuracy and compliance of HS codes, import duties, certificates of origin, shipping documents and industry-specific procedures.
Handle complex shipments and resolve issues involving documentation, customs clearance, delivery delays, damaged or missing goods, and supplier or carrier claims.
B. Cost Control, Risk Management and Cross-functional Coordination:
Monitor and control import-related costs, including landed cost, freight, import duties, customs clearance and other associated expenses.
Recommend practical solutions to optimize costs and operational efficiency.
Proactively identify and address risks such as documentation errors, customs clearance delays, demurrage and detention charges, storage costs, and changes in shipping schedules.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Finance and Accounting, Technical, Warehouse and Warranty teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
Provide timely updates on shipment progress, payment schedules and issues that may affect business operations.
C. Team Leadership and Process Improvement:
Assign tasks, provide guidance and training, and monitor the performance and progress of team members.
Develop, standardize and continuously improve import-export procedures, templates, data management and reporting systems.
Propose solutions to improve operational efficiency, minimize errors and optimize costs.
Report to management on shipment progress, import costs, supplier performance and potential operational risks.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade, International Economics, Logistics, Customs or a related field.
At least five years of experience in import-export operations, including experience managing a team or department.
Hands-on experience importing electronics, audiovisual equipment, professional audio and lighting products, technology equipment or technical components.
Strong knowledge of customs procedures, HS codes, import duties, certificates of origin, Incoterms, international transportation and industry-specific inspection procedures.
Ability to manage overall plans while remaining closely involved in operations and directly handling complex cases.
Good command of English for communication, negotiation, email correspondence and contract management with overseas suppliers.
Strong capabilities in team leadership, negotiation, cost control, risk management and cross-functional coordination.
Proactive, decisive and detail-oriented, with a systematic mindset and a strong sense of ownership.

Salary: VND 20-25 million/month, negotiable based on experience and capabilities.

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM-5:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
