1. Innovation Programmes Officer
The Innovation Programmes Officer will lead day-to-day operations and monitoring of the implementation of VinUniversity's Innovation Fund, supporting disruptive, high-impact research and innovation projects. Supports fund disbursement, impact tracking, and alignment with VinUniversity's strategic and QS-ranking goals. Coordinates internal project pipeline and helps researchers strengthen proposals and execution plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the full Innovation Fund process: Manage annual call cycles, application, selection, and review process for fund disbursement.
Provide advisory support to project leaders on fund utilization and strategic alignment.
Coordinate with Finance, Legal and Compliance and Research Offices to ensure policy compliance
Track impact metrics (e.g. commercialization potential, research outcomes, QS contributions) and manage a dashboard for all funded projects
Work with the Commercial Strategy Officer on project maturity and commercialization readiness
Support early-stage hightech venture formation by coordinating commercialisation programmes, internal reviews, advising on market-fit assumptions, and connecting researchers with potential business partners.
Work with leadership to continuously improve fund policy and support structures.
Actively engage with other offices to advocate for commercialisation-friendly research strategies.
Assist with all of department's project planning and execution
Reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Other related duties as instructed by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Manager
2. Innovation and Commercialisation Officer
The Innovation and Commercialisation Officer will support the pipeline of applied research and innovation projects through market validation, venture incubation, and industry engagement to bring VinUni's innovations to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with faculty, researchers and innovators to identify commercialisation potential.
Support patent strategy and IP development with relevant stakeholders.
Design and coordinate external challenge programs and strategic open innovation partnerships
Act as a connector between faculty, researchers and industry/VC stakeholders
Facilitate startup incubation and venture building activities from within VinUni.
Develop partnerships with industry to match market demand with university innovation.
Support early-stage hightech venture formation and coordinate with the Innovation Programmes Officer on pipeline alignment
Assist with all of department's project planning and execution
Reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Other related duties as instructed by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Manager
3. Student Entrepreneurship Officer
The Student Entrepreneurship Officer will design and implement initiatives to inspire, train, and support students in their entrepreneurial journeys from ideation to venture building.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and delivery of student entrepreneurship programmes and competitions.
Mentor and support students working on startup ideas, business models, and MVPs.
Organize bootcamps, speaker events, hackathons, and incubators.
Coordinate with faculty and external mentors to provide training and feedback.
Track student outcomes and engagement metrics to improve program effectiveness.
Assist with all of department's project planning and execution
Reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Other related duties as instructed by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Manager
Yêu cầu
1. Qualifications:
4-6 years in program management, grant administration, or research support
Detail-oriented and experienced in tracking metrics and reporting
Strong cross-functional coordination and communication skills.
Familiarity with innovation evaluation and higher education strategy
Demonstrated experience working with applied research or innovation portfolios.
Ability to balance operational rigor with strategic insight.
Background in innovation ecosystems, policy, or higher education is a strong advantage.
2. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Innovation, or related fields.
2-3 years of experience in startup advisory, venture building, incubators/accelerators, or industry R&D.
Familiarity with tech transfer, commercialization, and university-industry partnerships.
3. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Business, Education, or related fields.
2-3 years of experience with startup programs, student leadership, or accelerator environments.
Strong interpersonal and event coordination skills.
