Integration and Application Developer

PURPOSE
The Integration and Application Developer is a hands-on execution role responsible for building, testing, and maintaining assigned enterprise integrations and business applications across the XCL Education Group. Working under the direction of the Integration and Application Lead, this role focuses on task-level delivery: developing integration recipes, supporting Power Platform applications, and resolving day-to-day technical issues within a defined scope of work.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Enterprise Integration Development
● Build and configure integration recipes and workflows on iPaaS platforms (primarily Workato), connecting systems including Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, PowerSchool, SiriusNex, and other campus-level platforms, as assigned by the Lead.
● Develop and test integrations based on designs and requirements provided by the Lead.
● Support the integration development lifecycle: development, unit testing, UAT support, deployment, and post-go-live monitoring for assigned items.
● Troubleshoot integration errors, data flow issues, and connectivity failures, escalating complex or cross-system issues to the Lead.
● Maintain integration documentation for assigned recipes, including data mappings, field transformations, and error-handling flows.
● Monitor assigned scheduled integrations and respond to failures promptly.
● Support master data integration tasks (e.g., project codes, cost centers, chart of accounts, student records) as directed.
● Follow naming conventions, versioning standards, and integration patterns set by the Lead.
2. Application Development & Support
● Develop and maintain assigned business applications on Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Dataverse configurations.
● Implement application requirements as specified, including form logic, workflow automation, user roles, and data validations.
● Support the application lifecycle from development through UAT, deployment, and ongoing maintenance for assigned applications.
● Troubleshoot application issues reported by end users, escalating to the Lead where needed.
● Maintain SharePoint sites and Pages used by business teams, as assigned.
● Follow data security standards, user access controls, and software licensing requirements.
● Assist in gathering and clarifying application requirements from business stakeholders under the Lead's guidance.
3. Issue Management & Quality Assurance
● Log, track, and resolve assigned integration and application issues using the Group's issue management tools and processes.
● Support root cause analysis on recurring failures under the Lead's direction.
● Participate in post-go-live support periods for assigned integrations and applications.
● Conduct unit testing and support UAT for assigned deliverables prior to production deployment.
● Maintain a defect and change log for assigned integrations and applications.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
● Work with business users, SMEs, and country IT teams to clarify requirements and communicate progress on assigned tasks.
● Participate in project meetings, UAT sessions, and go-live activities as a technical contributor.
● Escalate unresolved requirement conflicts, scope gaps, or technical blockers to the Lead in a timely manner.
● Provide clear written updates on task progress, issues, and delivery timelines.
5. Documentation & Knowledge Management
● Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for assigned integrations and applications, including data flow maps and configuration notes.
● Support the Lead in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring support tasks.
● Share knowledge with country IT teams on basic troubleshooting and monitoring for assigned items.
