Investment Director

The Investment Director is responsible for the management and coordination of internal and external research work and projects and for giving specialist guidance and advice to the business and to the clients. The job holder will collate and analyse data and provide evidence-based recommendations which will be used to contribute to the delivery of our strategic goals.
As a key member of the Investment Team, evaluate investment office, multi-family and industrial opportunities that match investors quality, locational and yield parameters.
Responsible for capturing and utilizing market data to accurately underwrite investments and other strategic decisions.
Conduct asset and market tours as part of underwriting process. Prepare recommendation materials for approval prior to bid. Draft Letters of Intent for targeted investments.
Responsible for the preparation of Investment Approval packages and participate in investment committee presentations.
Assist the Managing Director with the review and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements. Provide input relating to deal points and unique characteristics of each transaction.
Conduct and manage a professional and organized due diligence process for each asset, including coordination with asset management, legal and third-party vendors.
Assist in the Closing process, with detailed review of pro-rations and settlement statements and provide all documents and procedural support in advance of closings.
Be an active participant in regular scheduled team meetings to discuss current investments, new opportunities, development, and the overall real estate portfolio.
Post-closing, work with Asset Management Team to develop Asset Level Business Plans.
Act as a resource to junior members of the team; providing mentoring support and guidance.
Develop, expand, and maintain external relationships with key market participants and investment brokers.
