Reporting to the Vice President - Investment, this individual will be responsible for general support and execution capacity for the Investments/Divestment and Asset Management functions. Primary responsibilities include deal execution, fundraising, financial structuring, underwriting, financial modeling, preparation of internal memorandums, presentation and other materials, and research and other support, as needed. The role will be multifaceted, offering the candidate a wide breadth of real estate investing experience in a fast-paced, institutional work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Full cycle investment from "start to finish" - sourcing, project management, value creation, and divestment.
• Extensive financial modeling and underwriting analyses in sizing up investment opportunities
• Preparation of materials, including investment presentations, memorandums, financial analyses, and board presentations
• Active coordination with internal departments (e.g., finance, design, project management, operations) to execute various project objectives
• Assist in maintaining various updated reports and tables, including project trackers, existing investment returns, deal pipelines, transaction comps, etc.
• Other miscellaneous research and support, as required
Yêu cầu
• 8+ years of working experience, preferably with a top-quality financial/investment institution
• Strong interest and experience in real estate development and hospitality
• Very comfortable with complex financial modeling and quantitative analysis
• Excellent English skills - verbal as well as business and investment writing skills with the ability to convey messages succinctly and effectively
• Experience in negotiating a range of definitive documentation, a strong plus - e.g. term sheets, MOUs, purchase agreements, hotel management agreements, leases, JV agreements, loan agreements
• Strong research skills and resourcefulness in finding information
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment at an institutional organization
