IT & Business System Manager

JOB OVERVIEW
As the IT & Business System Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure and leading software development projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Infrastructure Management Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks,
hardware, and software systems.
• Ensure network and system uptime and performance meet operational requirements.
• Manage and maintain internal IT systems and cloud-based applications.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software acquisition, installation, and
maintenance.
• Plan and implement IT system upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Help Desk Support
• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Offer troubleshooting, problem resolution, and user training.
• Maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures and common issues.
• Support the setup and configuration of end-user devices, such as computers and
mobile devices.
Risk Management and Compliance
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security,
reliability, and efficiency of our IT environment and system.
• Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate
them.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards,
regulations, and best practices (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the
impact of IT disruptions.
• Establish and maintain a security awareness program to educate employees about
cybersecurity risks, best practices, and their role in maintaining a secure IT environment.
• Implement and manage security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion
detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, encryption, and multifactor
authentication (MFA) to safeguard IT systems.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure their cybersecurity practices align
with organizational standards, including conducting regular vendor security
assessments.
Business Systems Implementation
• Lead and manage digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business
objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and identify
opportunities for leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing systems, workflows, and processes to
identify areas for enhancement.
• Research and recommend emerging digital technologies and trends to enhance
competitiveness and foster innovation.
• Evaluate, select, and implement business systems and applications aligned with
organizational goals.
• Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and
productivity across IT and business functions.
