**Aim - Brief overview of job purpose. Why does the job exist? What is the overall purpose of the job? - WHY?
The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company IT systems are installed and operating properly, system security measures are in place, computer hardware is well maintained and systems are utilised to their maximum potential, and that new systems are installed and operating properly to improve company efficiency and profitability, while adhering to AFG standards.

1. Oversee IT usage: POS, websites (online, webmail, websites), restaurant computers etc.
2. Liaise with 3rd parties

1. Oversee all aspects of our IT solution including POS, websites (online, webmail, websites), POS & restaurant computers (both online and on-site where required). Provide monthly report on issues, fixes and enhancements.
1.1. Trouble shooting issues where needed in regard to ensuring hardware and software is functioning to support the needs of the user
1.2. Ensure access to Wi-Fi, LAN, connections to server, cloud, etc. are functioning to support users and business needs
1.3. Maintain and manage emails for AFG needs
1.4. Monitor and maintain camera systems in outlets and offices on a regular basis
1.5. Serve as the "in house" expert on IT set up, installation and ongoing maintenance of hardware and software.
2. Liaise with our 3rd party contractors for maintenance of our restaurant systems.
2.1. Ensure effective relationships and communication with 3rd party contractors to ensure AFG business needs met in a timely manner
2.2. Continually review
2.3. Provide monthly report on problems and recommendations.
3. Be the "Go To" Person for all of our outlets in VN in regards to the following:
3.1. Problem identification and solving. System enhancement recommendations in terms of POS Operation and Internal computer systems of AFG.
3.2. Suggest solution and task the respective person/or you with the responsibility to resolve the problem.
3.3. Report back to Area Manager with a monthly Task and Fix Report
4. Work closely with the Marketing Department on updating and developing the following: AFG Website, Online Order, Marketing Web Site, Rewards Plus, etc.
4.1. Ensure clear communication channels are established to facilitate this.
4.2. Manage time frames for uploading of relevant Marketing and Operational material is populated to website, online etc. as required
4.3. Continually review websites to ensure it is presenting well and functioning correctly
5. IT Improvements:
5.1. Manage and provide recommendations and improvements for the following: SEO and provide analytics in regard to the development of new and/or enhancements for all Marketing related IT developments.
5.2. Facilitate regular meetings with Marketing management staff in regard to recommendations and/or improvements for all aspects of AFG IT programs.
6. Monitoring and Reporting:
6.1. Monitor and report on ongoing issues with the POS system and recommendations for improvements, changes or modifications that would be beneficial for all aspects of AFG IT program
6.2. Manage and monitor the workflow of the NaviWorld system in consultation with the relevant operational staff.
6.3. Be the contact point between the Special Project- POS System and supplier
7. Maintain Communication Channels:
7.1. Constantly maintain good and consistent communication between, AFG management, AFG properties & staff and any 3rd Party Contractors
7.2. Ensure clear and timely communication is managed and facilitated at all times.
7.3. Hold scheduled and regular meetings with Area Manager's- North and South in regard to IT related issues.
8. Documentation:
8.1. Ensure that all issues, concerns, problems and outcomes related to the POS system are well documented and reported to Area Managers and Special Project Coordinator-POS.

Requirements of the role:
• Ability to work proficiently in both English and Vietnamese
• Proven track record of success in senior IT role/s, preferably in hospitality/retail within Vietnam.
• 3+ years' experience in the role of Manager
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics software
• Experience with implementing roll out for new POS system
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible with change
• Ability to demonstrate the 3 Core Values of AFG: Respect, Enthusiasm and Integrity
