JAPAN - Senior Contracting & Production Executive

Job title: Senior Contracting & Production Executive
Job function: Staff

Location: Japan
Experience level: At least two years of experience in Contracting in tourism industry (preferred in B2B inbound tours with EU market) and experience with the Japanese hotel industry is a must.

Salary: Experience dependent
Expire date: 30-11-2025

JOB DESCRIPTION

Contracting tasks (70%):

Doing price comparison between dynamic rate & static rate
Source and negotiate commercial agreements with hotels, transfers, attractions, restaurants and activity suppliers for Japan
Make a comparison between supplier rate & company's static contract rate
Prepare, review and sign supplier contracts and rate sheets (including blackout, stop-sell, allotments, cancellation & payment terms)

Administration duties

Follow up the contract with suppliers and do the contract submission
Update supplier's contact list, credit list & allotment list
Report to Contracting Team leader/ Contracting Manager
Report about making the comparison between supplier's rate & company's static contract rate (weekly/monthly)
Report about Contracting admin work
Coordinate with relevant team/members
Coordinate with Sales team to ensure the competitive rates for company
Contracting and Services system uploading

Production tasks (30%):

Research, create, launch new products, update current products and make sure that the products are ready for sales
Support sales
Work closely with Operations about tour itineraries:
Work closely with Contracting team about the preferred hotels and restaurants lists
Support marketing team with B2B website

JOB REQUIREMENTS

University: Bachelor's or Master's in Hotel / Tourism / Foreign languages / Economy or other related fields.
Fluent in Japanese and English language.
At least two years of experience in Contracting in tourism industry (preferred in B2B inbound tours with EU market) and experience with the Japanese hotel industry is a must.
Experience in production is an advantage.
Preferred candidates who are Japanese or Vietnamese who fluent in English, Japan and having at least two years' experience in Contracting in the tourism industry
Attention to detail.
Positive attitude, open-minded, customer service mindset.
Creative, dynamic, good knowledge about products and destinations in Japan.
Good presentation skills.
Strong negotiation, communication, and partnership management skills.
Willing to travel often (especially in low season)
Good problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and work well in a team
