The Logistics Officer is responsible for effectively managing all functions of the demand management and order fulfillment processes for exported and imported items. They must deliver the agreed to business results while maintaining positive employee relations. The primary accountabilities of the role include customer service, subsidiary Logistics financial performance, quality, regulatory, people and organization development.
++ Job Summary:
+ Supports Subs on new project launching on time by involving to system set up projects or needed projects.
+ Ensure smoothly logistics order and shipping process to subsidiaries.
+ Coordinates with responsible Divisions and subsidiaries on their toothbrush demand and ensure good customer service level
+ Drives logistics & continuous improvement activities (storage, shipping) including: inventory control, warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, and order processing & customer service. Communicates standard logistics metrics to direct reports. Resolves quality, service & cost issues.
+ Manages international shipping / receiving process, working with Freight forwarders and Brokers to ensure proper documentation is completed to meet all government regulations.
+ Ensure all quotation regard to freight cost, service cost being notified and approved by manager and Director of Manufacturer.
+ Communicates & reinforces Logistics plans. Maintains clear communication & close co-operation with Customer Service, Materials Planning, Manufacturing, & major suppliers/vendors. Works with Cross-Border Sourcing, Quality, Planning, Manufacturing, and Carriers & Customers to proactively avoid & resolve quality & service issues relating to logistics.
+ Prepare all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (shipping instruction, departure, arrival, customs clearance, PODs, etc.) as specified by Customer Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations.
+ Oversee and complete accurate billing to clients based on pricing established with the clients, while ensuring accurate costs and profits are maintained.
+ Plans and schedules appropriate modes of transportation based on daily needs. Schedules the appropriate service line for the situation (across all modes and all trade lanes) to maintain a cost-effective balance between customer service and cost of shipment.
+ Works closely with client's representative to ensure service satisfaction. Analyzes service failures/ issues and implements performance processes to enhance future service delivery.
+ Develops standardized process for clients assigned to group including SOP, KPIs (3rd party Warehouse, Customs & Transportation service, Forwarders...), Report requirements, system needs, and compliance requirements. Liaisons with other support groups to ensure processes are established
+ Checking and making payment to (3rd party Warehouse, Customs & Transportation service, Forwarders...)
+ Responsible for resolving all internal and external client customer service issues in a cost-effective and expeditious manner. Works closely with client's representatives to ensure service satisfaction. Analyzes service failures/issues and implements performance improvement processes to enhance future service delivery.
+ Lead Quality/FP&R/EHS standard: refer on R&R matrix detail for each standard.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
++ Applied Knowledge and Skill
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or Other Engineering majors
- This position is open to fresh graduates
- Good English communication Skill
