Oktava by Cherryfield Vietnam is a 100% foreign-invested and owned company specializing in garment production and export to both US and European markets.
We're seeking a Junior Womenswear Designer to join our Design Department. Reporting to our Womenswear Designer, you will have creative flair and a keen eye for detail as well as being super organized. This is a hands-on, varied role, offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of product categories with strong focus on Tailoring and Outerwear, knowledge with Soft Wovens is a plus. We are looking for someone enthusiastic, adaptable, detail-oriented and versatile with potential to grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist designers with creating design CADs, trends, market reports, presentations.
• Work alongside with R&D on sample development.
• Photograph design samples, retouch photos.
• Handle daily administrative tasks to support smooth running of the team.
• Help prepare for customer meetings.
• Attend local textile fairs and engage with suppliers.
• Undertake any other duties as required.
Yêu cầu
• Degree in Fashion Design with 2+ years of experience in womenswear design (experience in a manufacturing or supplier environment preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, Canva, knowledge of 3D design software is a plus.
• Proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent English as the job requires communication with foreigners.
• Excellent organizational abilities, pay attention to detail and a team player mindset.
